Hungarian poet, essayist, hussar. Descendant of old noble families. He studied and graduated in England. He was a member of the Cambridge Apostles, an exclusive club of the most prominent members of Cambridge University. His first poems were published in England. He wrote both in English and Hungarian: poetry, essay, study. At the outbreak of World War I, he returned home and entered the 7th Army Hussar Regiment of Pápa. At the age of 22, he died a heroic death on the Eastern Front. He was forgotten at home, but for a long time, he was the best known Hungarian poet in England. His rediscovery in Hungary began in the early 2000s.
