prehistoric, early iron age, Hallstatt culture, HaC2-D1 period, 7th-6th century BC

The altar stands on three stocky, rectangular legs and is fitted with outward-facing zoomorphic heads at both ends. Most of its surface was hardened by fire, but the heads were barely exposed to the fire, leaving them in extremely damaged condition. There is a zig-zag line that runs along the back, and the front has a complex, angular meander pattern with nail imprints. The small holes on the object do not fit the motifs, they may have had some functional purpose. The object was discovered during the excavation led by Csilla Farkas in 2006-2007.

Az oltár három, vaskos, téglatest alakú lábon áll, két végében pedig kifelé forduló zoomorf fejekkel látták el. Felülete nagyrészt keményre égett, de a fejeket alig érte a tűz, így azok rendkívül roncsolt állapotban maradtak csak meg. A háton bekarcolt zegzug-vonal fut végig, az előlapon pedig körömbenyomkodásokkal bonyolult, szögletes meandrikus mintát alakítottak ki. A tárgyon látható kis lyukak a motívumokhoz nem illeszkednek, talán valamilyen funkcionális céljuk lehetett. A tárgy 2006-2007-ben került elő Farkas Csilla ásatásán.
