Countess Cziráky József and Borbála Barkóczy erected this Calvary on an artificial hill. When Count Cziráky married her she was not a noblewoman, and she made a promise of building the Calvary hoping for ennoblement in return. After being accepted in the Order of the Starry Cross, she built the Calvary in 1731. Sandstone was used untilthe 20th century to make the statues of Mary, Mary Magdalene and the Apostle John as well as the three crosses. In the 20th century, these were replaced by wooden crosses - with tin Christ and the two thieves. The locals regularly held private and minor communal worship here. The Calvary was included in the processions’ routes. It was last restored in 2014.
