A landscape photograph postcard from Arthur Szilágyi's studio. Settlements, resorts and the sights was a classic theme of postcards in the period between the two world wars. Arthur Szilágyi (1876? -?), photographer, alderman of the industrial corporation, president of the Catholic Young Men’s Association. He received his industrial training in Vienna in 1893, working as an assistant for his father in Vienna, and in 1891 he became independent. In 1908 he was awarded a gold medal in Paris. Between 1909 and 1910 he operated a photography studio in Szeged. Between 1910 and 1935, he led a photography and painting studio at Kőszeg at the Király Street No. 22.
