In the obituary, Royal Counselor and Deputy Lord Chief Justice János Niczky announces the death of his wife, Franciska Hegedüs on March 1, 1839, due to hydrops. They come from the ancient Ják Family, dating back to the 13th century. The family flourished, with a prominent member, Kristóf Niczky achieving the highest ranks: he was the Lord Chief Justice, Count and Lord Lieutenant of Temes, chairman of the council of deputies, inner secretary. His most famous deed was the reannexation of the Banat of Temes in 1787. He was given the rank of Count as Counselor of the Chancellery and Knight of the Order of St Stephen in 1765.

Niczky János királyi tanácsos és alországbíró nejének, Hegedüs Franciskának vizi betegség (ödémával járó betegség) következtében, 1839. kisasszony havának (augusztus) 1. napján, Nicken történt haláláról értesít.
Ják nemzetségből eredő ősrégi család, melynek családfája a XIII. század elején élt Ebed comesig nyúlik vissza. A családnak, mely nemesi és grófi ágon virágzik, kiváló tagja volt Niczky Kristóf (meghalt 1787-ben), ki a legelső méltóságokat érte el: országbíró, temesi gróf és főispán, a helytartótanács elnöke, valóságos belső titkos tanácsos; legnevezetesebb tette 1787-ben a temesi bánság visszakapcsolásának végrehajtása volt. 1765. november 5-én, mint az udvari kancellária tanácsosa és a szt István-rend lovagja, István, György és Anna-Mária gyermekeivel együtt grófi rangra emeltetett.
