The etching shows a richly clothed statue of the Merciful Mother of Turnišče with baby Jesus. On a twisted stripe is writings in Latin, translated as: Blessed Virgin Mary is worshipped in Turnišče near the River Mura in the Zagreb Diocese in the county of the Counts of Csáky. In the lower part behind the tree, the parochial church can be seen, depicted in the condition the etcher saw. On the left, the Chapel of Saint Anthony and two buildings of the parsonage can be seen.

Cerkev Marijinega vnebovzetja v Turnišču, imenovana tudi Marija pod logom ali Marija na Püstini, je najpomembnejša romarska cerkev v Prekmurju. K turniški Mariji naj bi verniki romali že prej, vendar so romanja dejansko zaživela po koncu turških vojn in zmagi protireformacije v 1. polovici 18. stoletja. Leta 2007 je bilo svetišče razglašeno za osrednje božjepotno središče soboške škofije. Na dan Marijinega vnebovzetja je tam veliko proščenje. Značilnost prekmurskih proščenj ali sejmov ob dnevih cerkvenih zavetnikov je, da domačini na ta dan v svoje hiše povabijo sorodnike in prijatelje na slovesno kosilo.
