The wooden cross painted in brown probably replaced the original old one. The grave post was removed and was placed behind the tombstone until the grave was restored and the new tombstone was erected in 2011. The wooden cross has a metal plate with the following inscription: Jožef Klekl ml. župnik v Dolencih 1921‒1936 rojen 3. 3. 1879 umrl 24. 9. 1936 (Jožef Klekl Jr. parish priest of Dolenci, 1921‒1936, born March 3, 1879, died September 24, 1936). The gravestone was preserved and restored. Jožef Klekl Jr. was the half-cousin of Jožef Klekl Sr, a pastor, historian, ethnographer and literary artist.
