The seal of Nemesládony from the 18th century

Seal of the noble village of Nemesládony. It was made of brass, has an oval-shaped printing surface which is mounted on a turned wooden handle. The seal image shows a rearing lion, looking to the left, holding a sword in its right paw. Above the lion there is the word “NEMES” and below it is the word “LÁDON”.

Specialist description

Nemesládony nemes község pecsétnyomója. A sárgarézből készült, ovális alakú nyomófelületet esztergályozott fanyélre szerelték. A pecsétképen ágaskodó, balra néző oroszlán látható, mely jobbjában kardot tart. Az oroszlán fölött a »NEMES.«, alatta pedig a »LÁDON« felirat olvasható.
