Schilson (formerly Sigray) Castle from Vassurány

18th century

The building was built by Mihály Schilson, and was owned by Counts Zichy, Festetics and Károlyi, among others. It was built in 1723. The U-shaped, freestanding, single-story Baroque-style building has an entrance with a mansard roof featuring two composite-sectioned columnar portals that on the first floor hold an iron-lined balustrade. On the ground floor there is a sala terrena and a chapel, and there is a ceremonial hall upstairs.

Specialist description

Az épületet Schilson Mihály építette, majd többek között a Zichy, a Festetics és a Károlyi grófoké volt. 1723-ban épült. Az U alaprajzú, szabadon álló, egyemeletes barokk épület bejárata a manzard tetővel kiemelt két kompozit fejezetes oszlopos portikusszal, ami a emeleten vasrácsos korlátos erkélyt tart. Földszinten sala terrena és kápolna, az emeleten díszterem.
