19th century

Bowl of post-Hutterite character. From the last decades of the 18th century to the last quarter of the 19th century, potters in Felsőpéterfa made this type of pottery: not only pitchers, but also plates and bowls. White glazed bowl with two handles and yellow, green, purple decoration around its brim. Inside the bottom is a blue, green, yellow, with purple flower decoration, the portrait of a saint (in purple-blue dress), and a halo around it.

Poszthabán jellegű edény. A felsőpéterfai oberpetersdorfi fazekasok a 18. század utolsó évtizedeitől a 19. század utolsó negyedéig készítettek ilyen típusú kerámiát: nemcsak bokályokat, hanem tányérokat és tálakat is. Kétfülű fehér mázas cseréptál sárga, zöld, lila peremdíszítéssel. Belül a fenéken kék, zöld, sárga, lila virágdísszel, emberalakkal (lila-kék ruhában), körülötte glória. Repedt, körbedrótozott, egyik füle hiányzik.
