Csönge jeles szülötte Weöres Sándor költő már a negyvenes években komoly hírnévnek örvendett, az akkori Magyarország szellemi elitjéhez tartozott. Az itt közölt két hozzá intézett levél bepillantást ad a művészvilág beszédtémáiba, a vers(ek) keletkezésének folyamatába.
A levelek szövegét közölte Lőcsei Péter 2014-ben.
